What Are the Best Podcasts on Pandora?

Do you remember a time when Spotify and Pandora were the two biggest music players battling for supremacy? Since then, Spotify has taken off, but Pandora still has a lot of loyal fans that swear by the platform.

In 2018, Pandora introduced podcasts to their platform, and their offerings have been steadily growing ever since.

In this article, we’re going to look at the best podcasts on the Pandora platform.

Finding the best podcasts on Pandora is a matter of opinion. You can find most big podcasts on the platform, and you’ll have to look specifically for any particular genre you like.

What I like About Podcasts on Pandora

Pandora got a name for itself back in the day for giving you suggestions based on what you listened to; they always solved the “what should I listen to next” question – I always loved Panora at parties for that reason.

Well, with their podcast offering, Pandora is setting out to answer the same questions for podcasts. Using the thumbs up and thumbs down session that the music platform uses, Pandora will give you more podcast episodes similar to what you already like – they do this by analyzing the millions of times users have selected thumbs up or down over the years.

Basically, Pandora wants to use all their great tools to get you listening to new podcasts you’ll love -which is pretty cool!

How do I Find or Collect Podcasts in My Collection?

To find podcasts on your app, use a combination of Search,  Browse or For You features to find an episode or series and then choose (+) My Collection.

If you want to stay in the know, you can add an entire podcast to your collection and not just a one-off episode using (+) My Collection button.

Like everything on the app, once you’ve added it to My Collection you can see it with your other saved items.

  • Free listeners and Pandora Plus subscribers will select My Collection and then Podcasts.
  • Pandora Premium subscribers will select My Collection and then tap the bar under the album art that reads Added to My Collection. From there, filter your collection by Podcasts to view any podcasts you’ve added to your collection.
